Texas Pride Heating & Air was founded to change the home-service industry in favor of the homeowner through transparency and adaptability. The home-service industry has, unfortunately, had its name tarnished by cheap and unprofessional contractors that do poor work and create an environment of distrust for all contractors. Pride is not only in our name; it is one of the core founding tenants that we started upon and continues to be reflected in our work and attitude daily.
Pride is not the only core tenant of Our company; we also highly pride ourselves on craftsmanship. There is something to be said about appearances, and while we may get a bit dirty while doing our work, our work will always be clean. We do not only want to take pride in our work; we want you to be proud of the work you have done in your home.
Ingenuity is another critical part of a job well done by our team. Our industry can often hit some snags, as is evident in the constant regulatory changes that we encounter and the different methods assumed by contractors. We stress the importance of thinking outside of the box and going against the grain in order to provide the best options for homeowners.
We often talk to homeowners about how when you purchase a nice new car, that car was made in the same factory and built the same way as the other serials. However, when it comes to HVAC, nothing could be farther from the truth! This is why it is so important to not only have a strong service team but also to have a strict install protocol. In 2021, Texas Pride replaced the youngest HVAC system we have run across at only a remarkable two years. The critical failure of this system was due to cheap and lazy install practices.
We have run across horror stories of contractors stonewalling homeowners and scaring them into a replacement. While we obviously recommend replacement when it is necessary (generally Age of System X Cost of Repairs) and if that exceeds $3500, we like to have that conversation. However, we never force options on the homeowner because we would not want someone doing that to us in our home.
